I have done this ribbon work in my cotton salwar. I have used 1inch satin ribbon for making flowers and 1/2 inch for leaves. I made the flowers separately and stiched it and embroidered the leaves.
I have painted this crepe saree using free hand and i have not traced the design. First i have painted using acrylic colors and gave outline using glitter gold outliner. In between the design i worked with stones, cut tubes and beads. Full of handwork and it took 10 days to complete. It really looks good after completing.
